													Termite Baiting System
A termite baiting system is a method of termite control that uses bait stations to attract and eliminate termite colonies. It is an environmentally friendly and less invasive alternative to traditional liquid chemical treatments.
Our bait stations are crafted from a refined alpha cellulose matrix, incorporating alluring compounds and feeding stimulants that make it irresistible to these destructive pests. They are strategically placed around the perimeter of a building or in areas where termite activity has been detected. Inside each bait station, there are bait cartridges containing cellulose material (such as wood/cardboard) that serves as a food source for termites. Once termites have made their way into our bait stations, they will leave their existing food source (infested property/wood source) to continue feeding on the bait. The bait is then treated with a slow-acting toxic substance or growth regulator that termites will carry back to their colony. When termite activity is confirmed, the monitoring bait is replaced with a toxic bait that is highly attractive to termites. This bait contains a substance lethal to the termites or a growth inhibitor that disrupts their ability to moult and reproduce. Since termites are social insects that share food through a process called trophallaxis, it allows the toxic substance to be transferred to other colony members. Eventually, the colony is weakened and will be completely eliminated.
Our termite solution provides a quality, durable proven termite baiting and monitoring system that complies with AS 3660 to protect your most valuable asset with no site fees.
